We provide residential care at Westbourne House, our care home in the Hillsborough area of Sheffield. It is close to Hillsborough Park and a thriving shopping centre, with easy access to local amenities and public transport providing direct links to the city centre.
Westbourne House Residential Care Home
The home provides a high standard of accommodation and individualised personal care for up to 11 adults with different types and levels of mental health issues.
We aim to enable our residents to have an "ordinary" life, by encouraging and working with them to be fully integrated into the community in which they live, and to take part in its activities according to their individual needs, abilities and interests.
All our residents have an individual care plan, which is developed and regularly reviewed with the full involvement of the resident, their family/representative/advocate, Care2Care staff and other professionals. Our staff are trained, supervised and supported to enable them to achieve a positive outcome for our residents.
Residents have comfortable single-bedrooms, and the use of wheelchair accessible bathrooms and toilets. They also have access to communal areas, comprising: a dining room, two lounge areas, a conservatory, a kitchenette for the preparation of their own drinks and light refreshments, and private gardens.
Westbourne House has its own on-site kitchen for the preparation of healthy and nutritional meals (including catering for special dietary needs), a laundry, and a private car park in the grounds to provide off-road parking.
Care2Care understands everyone who chooses our care and support is different. Each person is assessed according to their individual needs, and the planning for their care is done with the person receiving the care at the centre of the planning.
All our staff are carefully selected, and trained by Care2Care Training to meet the requirements of National Care Standards. They operate within a strictly monitored and enforced code of conduct, a copy of which is supplied to all our clients as part of their Welcome Pack, and is available for inspection by all prospective clients.
