The Service currently covers the S3, S4, S5, S6, and S9 areas of Sheffield, and we are expanding the service to cover other areas of the City as needed.
Every Monday between 10am and 3.30pm.
Transport to and from the Day Care Centre. Pick up times for the transport service start at 9.30am.
Refreshments and a varied lunch menu, with a range of halal and vegetarian options.
A team of Care2Care Services staff are responsible for the day-to-day running of the Centre. All the staff are professionally qualified and experienced carers who have been carefully selected and trained by Care2Care Training to meet the requirements of National Care Standards.
We normally have care staff available who speak Arabic, English, Punjabi and Urdu.
Requests for Day Care places are taken from a variety of sources across the city, including Social Care and Health Departments, the Health Authority, or GPs, and people who wish to pay for their care privately or their family and friends.
When your referral has been accepted by Care2Care Services, we will contact you as soon as possible. You will be offered an assessment of need by one of Care2Care's Care Managers. This may be by telephone or a visit to your (your family's/carer's) home.
After the assessment of need and eligibility is confirmed, you will be offered a day care place if this service meets the assessed need. A Care2Care Care Manager will visit you at your home to agree the transport/social arrangements and start date etc.
The Day Centre is self-financing, therefore a fee is payable.
Funding for is available from Sheffield City Council. To obtain funding clients will be required to undertake a financial assessment to ascertain their eligibility to contribute towards the cost of the service.
All clients receiving Council funding are required to pay a small fee as a contribution towards the cost of their lunch, which is mandatory for all clients.
We will be pleased to offer free, friendly and impartial advice on the funding options available to you.
We will be happy to help, either over the phone, or if you prefer we can arrange to visit you in your own home to provide a 'no cost, no obligation' assessment with one of our Care Managers, together with advice concerning the funding options available.

Care2Care Services is registered with, and inspected by, the Care Quality Commission as a domiciliary care provider - providing a range of personal care and support services to individuals in their own home or wherever they wish; and as a residential care provider - providing residential care to adults with differing mental health needs.
