The Service currently covers the area served by Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council.
- When is it available?
-
Monday - Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm.
- What is provided?

Transport to and from the Day Care Centre. Picking-up from 9.00am and taking back home from 3.30pm.
Refreshments throughout the day and a varied lunch menu, with a range of options available to meet dietary preferences, needs and requirements.
- Who runs the Day Care Centre?

A team of Care2Care Services staff are responsible for the day-to-day running of the Centre. All the staff are professionally qualified and experienced carers who have been carefully selected and trained by Care2Care Training to meet the requirements of National Care Standards.
- What languages do the Care Centre staff speak?

We normally have care staff available who speak Arabic, English, Punjabi and Urdu.
- How is the Day Care Service accessed?

Older people with dementia are assessed by, and referred through, Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council's Care and Assessment Team or Memory Assessment Team.
- Is help and advice available?
-
We will be happy to help, either over the phone, or if you prefer we can arrange to visit you in your own home to provide a 'no cost, no obligation' assessment with one of our Care Managers, together with advice concerning the funding options available.
